The VSI Appraisal Group specializes in appraising multifamily properties and is staffed by individuals with extensive experience analyzing market-rate and restricted rent properties.
Our appraisal personnel have conducted appraisals for a variety of federal programs and for properties developed within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. We have completed a large number of appraisals within the HUD MAP and the USDA Rural Development programs. In addition, VSI Appraisal Group staff has experience conducting appraisals for office, retail and industrial properties. They also have experience appraising mixed-use and special purpose properties, such as student housing, schools and hotels. Our appraisals meet or exceed the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). We also produce appraisals that meet the requirements of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA).

VSI Appraisal Group has conducted appraisal work throughout the U.S. We are licensed in multiple states and frequently obtain temporary licensure in other states as needed. We have access to a wide variety of major data sources that allow us to quickly understand local market dynamics and sales trends. In addition, we take the time to identify and interview key investors in local markets to make sure we provide an accurate measure of local trends. Finally, our analysts have completed work in most major markets, as well as many smaller markets, allowing us to have a personal understanding of trends at the local level throughout the country.
